The Official MMAFigs.com Xbox 360 UFC Undisputed 2010 Fantasy League is Pleased to Announce its First Fight Card!

PdW2kX and MMAFigs.com are pleased to announce the first fight card of MFWF MMA, the official Xbox 360 UFC Undisputed 2010 Fantasy League of MMAFigs.com! MFWF MMA consists of users from both the MMAFigs.com and WrestlingFigs.com message boards and forums. Almost twenty users signed up for this card, resulting in a massive thirteen official fights! With so many talented people having signed up with some of the best A-List talent UFC Undisputed has to offer, it was impossible to choose a main event! So instead, fights are organized by weight class. Fights are organized by weight class for another reason, as well: as a special bonus and as a sincere “thank you” to all who signed up for this first show and have supported us since day one, the Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight, and Middleweight bouts will comprise the first round of three distinct Championship Tournaments! More on that later.

First, here is the official line-up for our first event, History in the Making!

MFWF “History in the Making”

May 30 to June 5

Heavyweight Bout: Frank Mir (Mr. Slice) vs. Brock Lesnar (Cass)

Heavyweight Bout: Gabriel Gonzaga (x513x TeflonDon) vs. Junior Dos Santos (mc atm)

Heavyweight Bout: Stefan Struve (hammer) vs. Pat Barry (TheResident)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Matt Hamill (Happy Pizza) vs. Jon Jones (hammer)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Tito Ortiz (mayhemmonkey) vs. Thiago Silva (x513x KERNAL)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Forrest Griffin (erich24) vs. Rashad Evans (x513x TeflonDon)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Ryan Bader (mc atm) vs. Mauricio Rua (Cass)

Middleweight Bout: Michael Bisping (PdW2kX) vs. Wanderlei Silva (DracoFlames92)

Middleweight Bout: Chris Leben (x513x KERNAL) vs. Anderson Silva (The Champ is Here)

Middleweight Bout: Chael Sonnen (Mukau) vs. Dan Henderson (Subway)

Welterweight Bout: Matt Hughes (Mukau) vs. Georges St-Pierre (Project KSL)

Welterweight Bout: Dan Hardy (The Resident) vs. Chris Lytle (PdW2kX)

Lightweight Bout: BJ Penn (Dave Grohl’s Beard) vs. Tyson Griffin (Subway)

Here is the way the tournaments work: for the Light Heavyweight matches, the standard eight-man tournament will apply: the 4 winners of the preliminary fights will meet in the semifinals, and the two winners of the semifinals will meet in the Light Heavyweight finale to crown the first MFWF Light Heavyweight Champion!

But the stakes are even higher for our Heavyweight and Middleweight fighters! Since both weight classes will feature six fighters competing in three matches, this leaves one “odd man out” who will have to skip the semifinal stage. Most would do a random drawing to determine who receives the “bye”, but at MFWF, not only do we reward our members with prizes and championship tournaments, we also reward those who press the pace and look for an exciting finish! So, for our Heavyweight and Middleweight fighters, whoever receives the fastest Knockout or Submission in their Heavyweight or Middleweight fight will receive a bye and go directly to the Championship Finale, while the other two fighters will meet in the Semifinals!

And let’s not forget that MFWF features prizes! It has recently been announced that two prizes will be up for grabs at “History in the Making”. Whoever records the fastest knockout and/or submission for “History in the Making” will receive their choice of one free action figure from the upcoming “UFC Deluxe Series 4” series of action figures made by Jakks Pacific, courtesy of Ringside Collectibles and MMAFigs.com!

Those interested in joining MFWF can get all the information on the league by clicking right here.

And finally, PdW2kX and MMAFigs.com wants to thank all those that have signed up for our first show and for MFWF in general, for their continued support!
