UFC Undisputed 3

I still play 2010 regularly, and am very excited to see some news today on MMAJunkie of all places

"UFC Undisputed 3" debuts in January, new enhancements announced | MMAjunkie.com


It looks like-

* Pride Rules- Head stomps, soccer kicks, and knee's to a downed opponent will be legal in this mode*

*over 150 fighters (picture includes Faber, so I would assume the lighter classes are in)*

*New online (we'll only see about this)*

Overall I'm pretty pumped, and now what I'll be getting for X-Mas this year.

I'm MEGA HYPED for this too! I actually started playing 2010 on my Xbox 360 again recently.

Pride Mode looks awsome and i think that's going to be a nice add-on aswell as a new Career Mode to play through countless times just like i did in the last game. Oh and 150 fighters!? That's insane, i love it! I'm also hoping the online has a huge improvement this year because 2010 was a joke with online fights.

And finally, i love that it's called Undisputed 3 rather than 2012, seems better considering that THQ wont release this game every year.

I dunno, I kinda like the new every year thing, as long as it wouldn't be like Madden, I mean 2010 was so much different than 2009


Either way, I'm pumped. I just hope they don't change too much of the online, because I don't think it's THAT bad.

Oh hell yeah, i wish they did a game every year also but i think this time off will do the series good. Maybe after this game they can get back on track and release another game in 2013.

The match making system just needs to be fixed aswell as the overall online connection experience neeeds to be fixed, and did you hear theres a new submission system?

I did not hear that, I hope they didn't change it too much, as least in a bad way, I kinda like the shine tatic, because if you're not good at it, you're going to get tapped out a lot, as where before it was just who can mash the most buttons faster.

I think it's like a sweet spot thing just like in EA MMA.

I really dislike the shine system. mostly cause i freaking suck at it. i can't get my timings right i prefer ea mma submission system but if they have both shine system and the new ufc submission system that be cool.

What caught my attention most in ufc undisputed 3 was pride mode. a must buy for every pride fans..sometimes i still play the one on my ps2 rofl although i do wonder if were able to fight fighters from pride and ufc with different weight classes and rule sets add elbows for pride rules for just the hell of it.. that be cool if were allowed to. I can't wait for it.. i wonder if they have the "yellow cards" for stalling, more animations for soccer kicks, head stomps, knees to the head, (ea mma soccer kicks head stomp was so limited) shogun jumping head stomp. and ryo chonan submitting anderson silva with the flying scissor heel hook. blah i'm hoping to much >.< . i know half of what i said aren't in real life but hey its a video game! lol

Lets hope so... I'm kinda worry with thq seeing as there wrestling games doesn't change much. i feel that if there a EA MMA 2 they would have a better chance of being a better game.

Likewise, gameplay looks similar but thats not a bad thing. I noticed already that theres new ground positions and that Jon Jones slam looks CLEAN! So far im liking what im seeing. Atleast i'll have UFC Trainer to hold me off till then...errr sorta...lol!
