So I've been getting back into UFC since Black Ops came out (I know I'm crazy, but I like UFC more)

Glitch much? No offence but submissions in that game (especially with submission switching or whatever it's called) are worth jack sh*t. Theres no real technique to escape or reverse them.

Sorry, i respect you and all cause your a solid member of the forum but thats just my belief towards the game so dont take it personal.

Nah, I don't see it as a glitch. There are so many ways to get out of submissions. I fight people using Lesnar/Velasquez all day when they pick Struve, Mir, Nogueira


The kid didn't wait to see if I was spinning or not, and that caused him the fight. The Silva fight was just me cranking the choke, the guy said afterwards he didn't expect it and was too late on spinning, but for me, submissions are what I like to pull off.

I have more, but kinda threw all that together quickly. Plenty of knockouts, and TKO's coming.

Nice fights man. Could never get the hang of subs or getting out of them... but then again I don't have a ton of time to play either with two kids haha.

I played 09 religiously, and 2010 also. I haven't gotten to play much, because my internet connection isn't good at all, and i get a lot of disconnects and its very frustrating

Got to finally play last night, with the exception of about 5 disconnects (makes me very angry, im too competitive in that game)

Am ranked about 200-250 right now. I've also beaten all of the top 100's at least once that will actually fight me. ALL of the top 50's just wait and fight low levels and bad ranked fights (people with negative records)


Kinda sucks, hopefully THQ will fix this for next year.

this game was good, but EA MMA showed it had its flaws. hopefully the competition (even though they bought it) will only make this next UFC game that much better.

I actually think UFC Undisputed shut out EA's game. I literally could beat the computer on legendary or hardest on EA in under 20 seconds, which is just not supposed to be able to happen. I also felt like EA was too much like taking turns, and not free flowing enough.

I just hope they can add WEC fighters for the next game, will be very interesting to have so many new faces with that purchase and of Strikeforce.

i think they shut each-other out to a certain degree. UFC owned it on the Clinch/Grappling where as EA took over on the stand-up. i know EA's striking did sometimes feel less free form, but being able to punish them with so many strikes while they were in the process of being knocked out and falling down was amazing. in UFC, when you knock them out your guy freezes and your unable to connect with more shots, which defiantly is not the case in real MMA. UFC also taking out the ability to do more ground and pound damage after your opponent is knocked out also killed it for me. in UFC 09' i loved being able to smash in their skulls after the KO (lol i know, im crazy) it was so brutal and just like the real thing. 90% of the time those guys don't stop smashing their opponent until the referee stops the fight, which EA implemented into their game, not as well as UFC 09', but much better in UFC 10', which yet again freezes you so you cant hit them anymore.

lets just hope next year's installment destroys them all.

ugh, i watched your fight video, your one of those ground/submission guy's aren't you? no offense, but guys that play like you absolutely killed the whole online experience for me. every single one of my 200+ matches usually went right to the ground or ended up there eventually. i would love that game if people would just stand and bang. it's funny when you tell them that though as they always come back with "its MMA, if you want to stand up go play a boxing game" lmao. no one buys those UFC games for the grappling, thats just there to add layers to the combat. try telling them that though.
