I think the game would be better off if the controls were like the UFC games but instead their like fight night controls,i'll maybe get it and test it out and see how it goes from there.
I've been on the fence since this came out, because I didn't like Fight Night 4 at all, in fact I got it and sold it within the same week, and really have enjoyed the ufc games, so I kinda felt like this game wouldn't be able to compete at all.
What do you guys think?
I feel like UFC has the better roster, and I have a hard time seeing EA's game being smooth, because early trailers just looked really unrealistic and sluggish

I'm really getting excited for this game. Everything they've released lately has looked awesome: smooth and sleek, lots of possible re-playability, the online mode on paper blows UFC 2010 right out of the water. Plus, you can download other people's Create-a-Fighter, recent fights, highlights, etc. etc. That's just crazy, you know people are going to be making UFC guys so we can download them. Plus, the entire game has a global feel: you can compete in a cage, a ring, a rounded cage, there are soccer kicks and foot stomps and knees to the head of a grounded opponent, there are different rules for different locations around the world... I was one of the guys extremely hesitant about this game, but with all the information released so far, I'm really beginning to want to play it.
That said, UFC 2010 was an abysmal game, and a colossal letdown, and I haven't touched it since MFWF folded. Career still wasn't all that much to write home about, all the other modes were basically fluff, and the online is so broken that it's honestly one of the worst online modes I've ever played, and this is coming from someone who can't get enough of the online mode in Modern Warfare 2. The douchebaggery online in UFC 2010 is near-infinite. I'm honestly not going to buy 2011 right out of the gate like I did with 2010. It's going to take some big changes to give THQ my money again.
So I'm actually hoping that EA MMA does give Undisputed a swift kick in the behind in order to get some competition going and force THQ to up their game. It may not have the best roster, but everything else combined should be enough for it to take the crown for the Undisputed franchise. So long as the gameplay is even halfway decent, if it's not outright broken, the sheer volume of play options, online modes, and re-playability should make it the new king of MMA video games.
From what iv'e seen of this it doesn't look to bad, the online sounds very good, the graphics look ok but the cafs look huge like cartoons and i like the sound of the ground gameplay but i'm going to have to wait and hope they release a demo because i wont buy it without one.
im excited for this as well. Alot of legends in the game. Although the demo will prob be the decision factor for me.
I was excited for Undispted 10 and after playing it for awhile i just didnt care anymore. It felt like the same thing, didnt offer anythign to special. I was anxious for the release to. Got it at mid night. Shame
Also you can share the demo with your friends to unlock a classic Randy Couture for the full game
