I've been playing it for a while, there are a lot of changes. It's going to take some getting used to, but overall I think it's going to be an insane game. The full retail version should be one of the best purchases of the year for any MMA fan.
SO who has downloaded the demo, i haven't done it yet i have my code just gotta go home and get going with it.

It's downloading as I type. Had to get rid of some Rock Band DLC, but not TOO much, so it's alright.

Game is sick, I need to get my capture card back up and running.

The only thing I actually find myself disliking is the clinch game. It's just way too easy to move from single-collar tie to...well, to any sort of disadvantageous position. I used to straight murder people from the single collar tie by mixing it up with straight punches, kicks, then following it up with uppercuts to score the TKO. Now I'll be lucky to get in a couple of shots before I'm immediately reversed and put into a position where I can get slammed and put on my back.
The Muay Thai Clinch is a bit better at allowing me to score those dreaded clinch uppercuts I love so much, but still, the loss of an effective single-collar tie that doesn't involve constantly trying to block grapples is pretty annoying.
I love doing "The Carwin."
That is single collar tie, push up against the fence, throw uppercuts.
It's the best way to win by TKO.
I agree with that, the single-collar tie and Thai clinch may actually be TOO powerful against the cage. Once I get my opponent pressed up against the octagon, I usually land about four uncontested uppercuts before the opponent even thinks of trying to transition.
At the end of the day I really like this game, can't WAIT to play the retail version. May 25 can't get here soon enough.
