As far as it goes for Gonzo, he was trying to purchase a tito round 5 from me in early june, with the intend to pay for figure plus shipping, so that does seem a little crappy to know he was offering to purchase something from me and yet still had not made his deal with you.

I mean, I'm not going to ban you, that's not my decision, but I do think you're being immature with the deal, and making up plenty of what seems to be excuses. The way I see it, you still owe someone something they should've gotten almost 6 months ago, but yet I'm sure if this was someone ripping you off, you'd have already said something, and not even been as patient as Gonzo was.

yeah can call them excuses but i cant help the fact that my 91yrold grandma died the my other grandma who has had breast cancer for a years goes then my moms aunt goes..and stuff like that that stuff just happens and im still gonna send him atleast a few more figs just i got to get money for shipping i dont have a job no more so you cant just expect me to have money especially if i have to get gas every week and that takes alot out of my bank account

I mean, if I were in that situation, I'd be mailing them tomorrow rather than getting gas, when I don't have a job or money, I don't go out. And even with family members dying, I seriously doubt that means you wern't at home for 6 months. Why couldn't your brother have done something nice and shipped out something you owed someone for your birthday instead of "asking" me to get you a tito figure.

Then you just now said he'll at least get a few of the ones you owed when he should be getting all the ones you owe him.

It's also funny how when we played our match for the league on xboxlive, it was you asking about the figure, not your brother. So let me guess? I really played your brother on your xbox live account??

I mean, no one was asking for you to delete your account, personally I'm not involved in this trade except for happening to be on the same forum as you both, and to me it just seems a little shady to know we have a member who did not deliver what they said they would. Deleting your account would only make you seem less of a person, and would just prove that you did not have the intent to even send out the rest of the figures you owed him.

People that do things like you are doing are the reason people cannot be trusted in general, because the good people like gonzo trust in you to do something, so they themselves deliver their part, while the people who cannot be trusted, like you just simply do the minimum and basically scam others.

You being excited has nothing to do with the fact that you should have probably just asked your brother to give you the 15$ you were going to give to me for the tito fig, and mail out the items you promised to someone. If I had known this then, I would have told you to do this a month ago.

so you can honestly say that it doesn't seem shady that someone just posted about you not shipping out what you needed to, and you wanting to close your account all of the sudden?

You cheated someone out of something, that makes you shady, he's already heard 20 times that you'll send them out...but that hasn't happened now has it.


And you wanna close your account for what reason, why didn't you just change the name rather than create a new account?

If you don't want your account anymore, then please don't let us keep you. In fact, I'll help you along. I never had a single problem with you before this entire situation, but now you can go ahead and consider yourself banned.

What you just can't seem to wrap your head around is the fact that you've had four months to get $15 and still haven't done it. I can empathize with you if you're going through personal problems and deaths in the family, but at the end of the day, it's $15. Anyone can rustle up $15. I'm broke as hell right now and in-between jobs, and yet to collect my first paycheck from writing for fighters.com, and even I could rustle up $15 if I wanted to, and it'd take me no more than a couple of days at the absolute maximum. Hit the pawn shop or Gamestop if you have to. Acting like $15 is some grand number that just can't be reached within the span of four months is just plain inexcusable.

You made a deal, got what you wanted, and didn't send all that you were supposed to send. In a community that's just starting to grow and gain respectability, there's just no way I'm going to look the other way and let one of our best, most loyal members get scammed.

And that's what you did, mayhemmonkey. At the end of the day, no matter the excuses, you scammed Gonzo. And that simple reason is why you're now banned.

You know my contact information. I'm sure you know Gonzo's. I'm not above giving second chances. If you ever do complete this deal, let me know and we'll see about you getting your account back on a TRIAL basis. That's if you even want it anymore.

But until then, I wash my hands clean of this situation. I'd like to personally apologize to Gonzo that he got scammed, and hope that he remains an active member of MF.

And to anyone else thinking of scamming our members, let this be a stern lesson. There's no "shades of gray", no mitigating circumstances, and no excuses. Pay up or get banned. Simple as that.
