You can say _____________ doesn't look like himself with just about everyone if your examining with that in mind. However, there's not one guy in the entire R5 line that you can't tell who it is based on just a glance. A cartoon isn't as good a photograph, but you know who it is. Collector's Series 2 looks great, they're true to the R5 style and it's good for them to resculpt a few guys at a time to A)rebrand them with UFC and B) get the early series' figs closer to the larger size that the later series employed.

That said, I wish they would have made Bisping with his jaw extended and his arm out to match the Hendo figs right hand.
Good point about the figs; maybe they should have made Bisping lying on the ground with the camera man on top of him

Bisping figure looks just fine. Probably be the only one I'll get.

Just pre-ordered the set from spam. Usually I think their prices are a little high, but I got the set of 6 for $89. With a 5% coupon code and shipping I got the set coming to me for $93.48. Not bad considering that if I bought them all from Toys R Us @ 16.99 each, I'd end up paying about $101.

This is the first time I'm doing this type of thing, as I usually love going out and and searching for the figures until I have them all. I'm just being lazy now.

Not at all man, these things are hard to find. I don't think it's lazy, you're just saving yourself the trouble.

Most of the protos look great. I'm shocked to see a new Randy. I like the refined head sculpt. R5 still hasn't captured a good Ortiz head sculpt, but I'll wait to see it up-front. Love the expression on the Griffin figure. Reminds me of his first fight with Ortiz, when he explodes from his corner during the final round. I'm going to get a Kimbo figure, just because I liked how humble he was during TUF 10. Bisping looks like he wants to get KO'ed. :P

PD, would you mind asking Damon Lau if the UFC deal is exclusive? I wouldn't mind seeing some Strikeforce fighters in figure form, Fedor specifically. I mean, we already have Dan Henderson, Gina Carano, Big John McCarthy and Cung Le...

I'm already feeling good about that pre-order. They've already jacked the price up to $109 for the set. Get 'em while they're hot.

I'm pretty sure R5 is now exclusive to UFC. They actually did have a Fedor fig, but his people didn't approve the protype, so it got delayed. Now there's no chance. Would have loved to have had a Fedor.

Both the Fedor fig and the possibility of non-UFC fighters were covered in my two-part Round 5 interview with Damon Lau.

To recap, Round 5 is still open to releasing non-UFC fighters, as well as making the necessary changes to release a Fedor figure.
