    What TV are you watching?

I figured it'd be nice for a rebirth of sorts for the Lounge.

So, let's get it started with some thoughts on the TV you're watching: what you watch and what you think of it.

Currently I watch a lot of shows, but most of them are off-season or on-hiatus. The shortlist of my favorite TV shows are: Psych, Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, The Office, and South Park.

Psych just keeps getting better and better, it's currently just behind Supernatural as my favorite show on TV.

I'm also excited for the hour-long "The Office: The Baby" special. A lot of people say that The Office isn't as funny as it once was, but IMO it's always been a blast to watch. This two-parter should be a whole lot of fun.

I'm trying to get into White Collar. I saw the first episode and thought it was pretty good. I just have to start watching it.

So, that's it on my end. What's everybody else watching?

I've recently watched new episodes of Psych and...well, that's pretty much it I guess. A majority of the shows I watch now are off-season or on break, and it sucks!

I'm about to watch the Office special, we'll see how that goes. I'm also amped up for the return of South Park, I've loved that show since the first season.

Psych still churns out the quality episodes, there's not a lot I can say about the show other than it's a close second as my favorite TV series on TV right now. If Supernatural weren't in the picture, Psych would easily be my favorite. I don't know how they've managed to keep such a novel concept so refreshingly interesting after four seasons, but everything this show puts together just works. The cast of characters, the mysteries, the drama as well as the comedy...Psych really does have it all.

I just wanted to pop in and say that I finally got to see Breaking Bad just to see what all the hype was about...and WOW did this show live up to the hype. It's simply brilliant, every episode is simply excellent. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite shows, I'd put it right up there with Sons of Anarchy and Dexter as one of my favorite "strictly for adults" shows.

TV I'm currently watching: Castle, Chuck, Supernatural, Smallville, Breaking Bad, V, Flash Forward, South Park, The Ultimate Fighter, and Ugly Americans.

Breaking Bad is the best show currently on television. It's honestly replaced Dexter for me. Supernatural is still my favorite show on television, although I can admit that Breaking Bad delivers more. It's just that I've been with Supernatural since day one, so it's hard to put anything above it.

V is slowing down while Flash Forward is really amping up. Flash Forward has really begun to pull ahead of V, which I feel has begun to stagnate. Chuck is still loads of fun but a lot of stuff is starting to feel cliche. Same with Castle. South Park is still an utterly brilliant show, Ugly Americans is great too. The Ultimate Fighter is pretty good. And Smallville continues to dive into a pile of suck from which it will never return. I honestly only watch it now just to see how much fail they can cram into each new episode. I hope against hope that this season is the last one.
