Hey everyone... Here's some news... I'm no longer at JAKKS. Was laid off Q4 2011. Business is business, and sometimes it doesn't work out in your favor.

Believe me when I say that I did pour 100% of myself into the position and 100% of myself into working to correct a number of issues and save distribution. I, like you, had a great deal of passion for the line and its success. If I had a few do-overs, sure, there are a few things I would do differently, but that's mostly due to hindsight being 20/20.

I do talk to the crew over at JAKKS here and there, and I've heard some things, but I can no longer speak on behalf of the line. Sorry.

Thank you to all of you folks here at mmafigs.com and the FB fanpage for your engagement, critical eye, passion, and (of course) support during my time working the line!

No, sorry. With me not being there anymore and also not really asking much about the line when I see my guys, anything I say would be unconfirmed.

Akosa, sorry to hear that you were laid off; I was wondering; since you say you still talk to those guys at Jakks, can you ask one of them to come on this forum and post something regarding the Kmart deal. I called Jakks yesterday, as I have been the last week or so just to see if the story changes and was told that they will just be sold at Kmart.

I figured thats what it was, I ordered a Batman figure and received the same type of email; all it is is an automatic update sent to people who have placed orders.
