Rampage Title Unification 1/1000 Received Today!

Got my Rampage Title Unification 1/1000 Figure today..... I like the 1/1000 sticker they used for it. Nice to see something other than the usual small square sticker.... Also nice that when I preordered this, I had no idea it was a 1/1000 figure.... Pics later if wanted...This figure kinda got me back in the collecting mood...

Yeah i been thinking about getting that one, it's pretty cool that it at least gets considered as a 1 of 1000, the sticker is a neat bonus. Pictures are always welcome...

I'm still kinda ticked off a little that Jakks made 1/100 versions of figures that are exclusive to RSC or other websites only. I mean, what's the point? If RSC wanted to be a dick and charge $900 for a 1/100 Rampage figure then they probably could and there's nothing that us collectors could do about it other than pay up. Why not give the collectors a chance to find them in the stores so they don't have to pay ridiculous prices. I mean, $99 really isn't that bad considering that if this figure was released to the mass public it probably would be selling for more than that price on eBay but still, I really hope that Jakks doesn't do to the UFC line what they did to the WWE Classic Superstars line and make a crap load of 1/100, 1/500, 1/150 etc. figures to the point that they drive away all their hardcore collectors.

I remember collecting the WWE Classic Superstars line and just quitting after I was overwhelmed with the amount of exclusive/limited edition figures that were being released. It seems like that's starting to happen again with the UFC line. I mean, in the past 2 months I've had to fork out a ton of dough to buy the 1/100 Frankie Edgar, 1/100 Dana White, 1/100 Wanderlei Silva, 1/100 Big Nog and 1/100 Rampage all of whom have been released fairly recently. And by the way it looks, it seems as though Jakks has plans to release a 1/100 figure in every set. If that's the case, then I'm not sure if I can afford to keep up, especially since I'm an anal collector who has to have EVERY single figure released from the line.

Well now you have just reminded me of all the exclusives out lately and what I have got behind on I think I won't bother again and stay in retirement haha, I like the rampage though so I will be happy with the 1/100 rampage when I recieve. It will be my only figure with the new packaging!

So your complaining about the amount of exclusives? Umm any new figures are all good to me. How about you control yourself and don't buy them all the time and limit yourself to the ones you really like?...

    I'm just saying!?

Thats how i feel.Being a ufc and pride nut im just love new figures coming out and being in the uk feel happy to just have every regular or genral release if you will (apart from kendall grove gggrrrrr) and as i said got 1/1000 rampage and insted of the 1/100 i could afford ALL of series 9.Seems a no brainer but each to their own i guess.Having every pride dvd released and every ufc dvd which are released syphons my cash to so i have to balance it.

Because that's not how I collect. I am a complete set collector, and I don't know if you noticed but I'm not the only one. There are plenty of people out there who collect just like me. I know for sure in this site that Kenny_D and sportscard are both complete collectors. There is an overwhelming feeling of unfulfillment when you have a complete set of figures except for one that unless you know what I'm talking about, you'll never understand. I like all the UFC figures so collecting only the ones I like doesn't really help me out.

    It's Showtime!
