    New way to display...

So there is an antique shop near my house that is going out of business and they're selling all their shelving units and display cases. I decided to buy one of their glass display cases for only $40 to put in my action figure room. I'm really happy with it. First off, these things sell for around $350-400 so getting it for $40 was an absolute steal. The lights on the inside still work and none of the mirrors or glass was broken. I used it to display my most valuable UFC figures. I love the way it turned out....

    What do you guys think??

Nice case but honestly i think itd be better served displaying other memorabilia like gloves, clothings, loose figs, any other signed stuff, belts. Assuming you collect these things anyway. Since a fig is already sealed and lets say a glove is not, the glove would be protected. I dunno how much other stuff you have but for me id use it for that. Instead i have smaller customized plexiglass/plastic hard cases that hold my belts, gloves or pads individually.

Yea I wish I did have some UFC memorabilia that I could display in there but I don't really have enough to put in here. I have an Anderson Silva glove but that has already been framed and placed on my wall and I have a Brock Lesnar Tapout shirt but that too has been framed and hung up on my wall. Maybe if I do get enough memorabilia then I'll start putting it in there but until then I'll leave these figures in there.

Ya thats cool if theres nothin else to put in. I would need a whole room of those cases for all my non fig stuff lol. Thats what having been to 3 fan expos so far does. Havent been to the 2 international ones, but already have plans to be at the houston one.

Those are his customs. The one next to Huerta is Gomi. Nice display case man. That was a major steal at $40.00. I like how you arranged them, but any particular reason why TF and Plat chuck are on their backs?

I think it's pretty kick-ass and I'd love to do this same thing.

They're not exactly on their backs, they're kinda proped up at an angle. I didn't want to stand them up because they would be blocking everything behind them.
