My UFC fan expo experience, pick ups, GSP excl.

i was @ the expo on the Saturday and it was absolutely jam packed in both of the main halls, all of the shops were busy, i spoke to the guy @ the jakks stall and he said the GSP figs sold out within 3 hours. i was gutted not to get one but i got another matt hamill figure only this one is signed by him so it was a big compromise but @ least i have something most collectors don't have.

I hear ya, at least you got that. Its better than nothing. I know alot of people bought many GSPs to sell on ebay. So factor in those people and there wouldnt be many GSPs left.

I also heard saturday was real bad. Lines everywhere. I was happy i just saw the 2 fighters i wanted to meet. But now you got the Expo in UK so that should be fun for you.

True guys......i've easily seen 50+ GSP figures on ebay. I've only seen 3 R5 3 packs on ebay and they have sold for loads and loads. Hopefully the UK expo will be good. I'm definately going. I think Wandy is gonna be there. I know he is in Scotland a week later for a seminar. I'm hearing Rampage could be there as well. Still no confirmed names on the official website though.

not sure i will be going the Expo in the UK just because i would want to go both days, as i live in Liverpool that would mean getting a train to and from London, as well as paying for accomodation for a few nights in London, then factor in the ticket and then factor in the money i would spend at the Expo, i would be looking at a few hundred quid.

also they have announced no exclusives and very few fighters to date, i don't think many of the big names will fly over for it though, look at forrest Griffen i like him but when was the last time he fought outside of Las Vegas, let alone the USA? the only big names we might see are chuck because he goes everywhere and maybe rich and someone said wandy. Couture is an outside bet

also forgot to mention that at the fan expo the round 5 vs sets with Buffer were readily available, i thought about buying one but it would have taken up so much space in my suitcase also while i have round 5 figs i only buy ones i like, and for the most part i had at least one fighter out of each of the packs, apart from the mir lesnar one, and tbh i don't really like either of them so i swerved them, but interesting to hear that they are selling for a bunch
