Does anyone think it's a bit odd that series 5 is out at stores and there are no MOC pics from Jakks?? Also; the series 6 protos that are awful that have been gracing the home page for well over a month haven't been re done; that there has been no official announcement on the line-up for series 7!!!! I don't know,maybe it's just me but.........

maybe, but i don't think so, i do agree series 6 look terrible though. Jakks have said that the ufc line is selling really well, i don't think it will be getting pulled anytime soon

I think all this info about stuff coming out months ahead of time spoils us to be honest. I remember the days of collecting figures when you never had a clue what was coming out till stumbling upon something new at the store and looking at the back of the packages for the lineups. These days if we don't know every set coming out for the next 6 months people get paranoid.

I think we get shown what figures are going to be released well in advance is because they use real scan tech, so they scan the fighters face and place it on a body then if people say that guys face is shit and looks nothing like the fighter or if theres any other problems down the line they can correct it before its released or if it gets too close to the release date pull the figure from the line like they did with series 2.

I agree; but I am just going on how Jakks handles the marketing aspect; just odd how series 5 is on shelves already and will be shipped by RSC next week and there are no MOC pics.

I think you're right, but doesn't it seem like they should be able to tell themselves? I always thought it was strange how Jakks would get fan input on a likeness. I mean, the Matt Hughes figure looks like him, the Randy Couture does not. Pretty easy to tell right?

well we get told all the time that they come on fan boards and take note of what we are saying so they should certainly have noted by now that nobody likes the series 6 scans apart from guida. the problem i think is that people like us will buy these figures regardless of how good of a likeness they have

With Guida and Alves the only decent figs i hope we don't get another mess about like series 2 and we only get 3 new figues, they have had plenty of time and feedback about these scans to fix them and why are we getting another Mir????
If you count the series 0 and series 2 as 2 different releases plus the 2 pack then this one in is gonna be our 4th, im all in for updates on figures wearing different shorts but 4 figs of the same guy already is abit overkill its not like hes super popular like John Cen and Rey Mysterio are in the WWE figs.

Yes indeed; I agree, the only good thing though is that this Mir looks exactly like the real person; and from what jebusgood said about Serra; I'm a little nervous about series 5.

series 5 for the most part is good just serra and bonnar i would say are the worst, but Lortrek your right i can see them turning in to another WWE line were we get either a chuck liddell (Cena) or Lesnar(Rey) everyother series
