When are we getting new body molds?

Does anyone know when these new sculpts are supposed to hit? I gotta say I am getting a little frustrated with having a whopping 3 body types. After picking up series 4 I realized 5 of the 7 fighters use the same torso. Sean Sherk has the same build as Wanderlei or Rich Franklin? Really?

I am also hoping they improve the head scans for series 6 because the last few have had mostly great head scans, and besides Clay series 6 looked like huge step back.

I am still loving the line, but the terrible likenesses of the WEC figures and lack of variety is starting to make this line get stale. I hope Jakks gets more variety in there soon.

people have been moaning about this for a while, pretty sure Jakks check this board out, so they are more than likely aware of this issue, i reckon you might see different body types after series 7, this is just a guess by the way.

I am anxious to see what the Roy Nelson body will look like; and you are right about Sherk; it doesn't make sense, they also gave Fitch a smaller torso and he is very big Welterweight. It also looks like they gave GSP that same torso when they should have the Sherk torso.

i think once we see a roy nelson figure we will see a Tank abbot figure, they both have beer guts, i also bet that we see them appear in 2 packs and in a few series in quick succession. Jakks will certainly want to get their money's worth out of a mold they can use for a few people.

I'm looking forward to seeing the body mold for Roy Nelson i also think Lesnar should have a different mold to the other heavyweights as the guy is like a bear, but i agree once we see a Roy Nelson figure we will see a legends Tank Abbot figure.

i think the lesnar body is fine for lesnar, just not that good for most of the other Heavy weights, i thought the Nog figure would have been much better if the body would have been more to scale, also if it had the famous scar on his back. its the details like this that i love and i think Jakks are missing out.

the biggest mistake yet is not including Wandy's head tattoo

Well either Lesnar needs a bigger mold or alot of the other heavyweights need smaller ones but Jakks are known for reusing bodyparts and leaving out important details, they are still doing it with the UFC and TNA line of figures.

The only thing Jakks ever did right with the WWE line is create the classics, the UFC are about the same price as the WWE DA figures and you get a accessory with the WWE figures, i just wish they would go that extra mile with the UFC figures, new molds and a shirt with sponsors on or a cap/beanie would be nice like what they have done with the Expo GSP figure if they did more figures like that i would be happy.

Totally agree with you they do need to go the extra mile but i think we will see them do that now, more figs with belts and T-shirts will be a certainty. i think they may have started basic with the UFC line to see how they sell, once they have the numbers on how well they are selling they will put more in to them like they did with the WWE figs. and i think we are seeing that now with series 5 belt with Lyoto and t shirt with severn.

Although they didn't include the rampage chain which all the promo shots showed him having.

also have you noticed that to date all the figures that have come out with a belt (Torres, Penn & Machida) the fighters have lost the belt! weird coincidence.

All the figures that have been released with belts were probably months down the production line and seen as anything can happen in MMA there was nothing they could do but still those guys losing the belts then having a figure released is a weird coincidence.

Heres an idea i hope Jakks will do, now i know the UFC Hall Of Fame is only small at the moment but a Limited edition UFC Hall Of Fame collection where they release 1 special figure a year with full removable entrance gear a championship belt and Hall Of Fame trophy is something i'd buy in a heart beat.
