Series 5 are out now

just been to my local comic book store on my lunch and to my complete and utter surprise they had series 5 out on the shelves.

I asked the woman behind the counter if she could put a set of them away for until the end of the day as i would collect them after workand she said yeah no probs. so come 4 o'clock i am running out of work and making a purchase or 7.

from the quick look i had there didn't seem to be a chain on the rampage figure (which is pride), defo not round his neck and i checked the rest of the packaging and couldn't see it. You might be happy to know that Lyoto gets a UFC belt though.

BTW I am from Liverpool, England so i am extra surprised that you guys in the US ain't got them yet, also surprised that RSC haven't got them yet either way i am sending the first sighted report out for all you MMA Figs users

i can try and post some pics here have to see how on FAQ's as i have no idea, if not here then maybe my facebook, but believe me they are in the shop and i have my whole series set aside, i will be picking them up in T-Minus 34 minutes.

oh by the way the shop chain is Forbidden Planet (the biggest comic book chain in the UK) and the store is called worlds apart.

Just upload pics to photobucket and post the url's or just post a link to a facebook photo album with them in.

no nate diaz folks, not on the back of the card either so presume this is another fig that has been canned.

gotta be honest my fav fig is Rampage looks a lot like him but you don't get the chain with him. very dissapointed in this as all the promo shots and even the pics of him on the box and other boxes show him having the chain.............................explain please Jakks

a bonus is the sweaty t shirt you get with severn, a nice touch.

you also get a belt with Lyoto which is nice and he is a very close 2nd, Kenny is good too.

the others are so so, but the Matt Serra fig is aweful, how this passed quality control is a major question.

Dude; did you read my thread on Liddell in the 2 packs; I almost started crying when I was looking at him; he looks like he has pantyhose on his head, and it wasn't just the one; it was both packs. Is it me or is Matt Serra smiling? and does Lyoto look anything like the proto because to me his face looks like a teenage version.
