PC with PD - 5/11/10: Thoughts on Kimbo/Daley/UFC 113

As a way to compel myself to cover more MMA news (I know I've been slacking), I recently pitched and received the go-ahead to begin an MMA podcast featuring the latest headlines in the world of MMA. It's called "PC with PD", and the first podcast can be viewed here.

Comments and feedback are both very much appreciated. Hopefully everyone enjoys the new format! PC with PD is currently scheduled to be a bi-weekly "show" with new updates every Tuesday and Friday.

Hopefully this catches on, I put a lot of heart into it and I personally think it turned out as well as I could hope for considering I have virtually no experience in the world of podcasting.

Remember to leave feedback! I'm very interested in seeing whether or not the readers of MMAFigs.com are interested in this new direction I'm taking.

PC with PD is mostly about non-figure news, since I've been slacking on covering it and I thought this would be a great way to motivate myself.

If PC with PD proves popular enough, I'll probably add some more stuff about my reaction to figure news, event predictions, etc.

You have an interesting accent; where are you from?

I was born in Miami, but have spent most of my life in southeast Houston and the surrounding area. My ethnicity may have a little to do with it, I'm mostly Cuban with a little Mexican thrown in. Never learned Spanish, though. Anyway, thanks for the vote of confidence! So far I'm really enjoying this.
