Yeah the same ones who bash Anderson silva for his fights hes been finishing (whether dancing during them or not) are the same ones who defend the hell out of GSP and how great a fighter he is. He is a great wrestler/pointer. NOT a great fighter. Kos great standup??? Not quite. He got KOD by Paulo Thiago who at the time had almost no standup. And shields has great wrestling and NO standup also. Hardy even though i love him, all standup and a little BJJ defense. Nothing more. Diaz is a bit more well rounded than all these guys. Decent takedown defense, great BJJ, good striking. Im just saying that even if gsp wins, i dont think he will finish, he couldnt finish lesser opponents. And if he does stay on top for 5 rounds i dont see him taking many risks for GNP when diaz is dangerous on his back. Only way its an exciting fight is if Diaz wins. If gsp wins itll be a 5 round snoozer. I dont really care who has the belt, Id watch the same 2 fighters fight over and over if they kept being entertaining and they could both win every other time. The belt shouldnt mean much to the FANS, it suppose to mean something for the fighters. We are here to see entertainment, regardless of title fight or not. So when someone says hes the champ hes the champ hes so great, who cares, is he entertaining? Id rather watch non title fights forever if that means some good fights. Belts dont make icons or legends.
