UFC 130: Meh!?

Since the Maynard Edgar fight is no longer on this card it seems kinda boring, and the UFC just scrap the fight and bump the Co-Main Event up as the Main Event? What ever happend to replacing fights and truely getting your moneys worth when you buy a PPV. Only fight i show alot of interest in is Roy Nelson Vs. Frank Mir.

I agree that UFC 130 is going to be kinda lame now that the main event was scrapped but I really can't blame Dana for not booking another fight. It's only 2 weeks away and with all the injuries taking place in training I wouldn't want to risk an additional injury to 2 more fighters for pushing them to get ready to fight in 2 weeks. And additionally, if I was a fighter, I wouldn't accept a fight on only 2 weeks notice either. But I do think that Dana should move the Clay Guida vs. Anthony Pettis fight (which is only 1 week after 130) to the main card and make it for the Interim Lightweight Championship, since the winner of that fight was going to get a title shot anyways. Either that or make it a $29.99 PPV instead.

The Edgar/Maynard fight was weak anyways. I dont see why they just dont replace the Main Event with a couple of other Big Namers.

Yea edgar maynard 3 shouldnt even be happening cuz maynard has beaten him twice now. And I really hope Nelson KOs mir.

Yeah. This blows. I would say that I won't spend that much on this card, but in the end I will haha. I am intrigued to see how Rampage actually fights now after the comments he made about stopping fighting if movies pay more. Also the Mir/Nelson fight should be good. But yeah the UFC cant just pull big name people to fight like that in two weeks.. They would not go for it... Too much at risk and not enough time to train.

I just pray that Rampage show some real skill, that Machida fight was a joke and theres no way he did the most damage in that fight but whatever enough about that.

And all this talk about movies paying more, well yeah they would if only you werent a terrible actor Quinton. Is it just me or can everyone else tell that he has no desire to fight nowadays?

What!!?? That fight was NOT weak dude. It was a fight of the year candidate. I thought it was going to be weak too but I was blown away when I saw the fight!

Hammill will take a one dimensional( striking ) Rampage down every round en route to a unanimous decision win, and I hope Mir and Nelson both K O eachother cuz neither of them can beat Lesnar, Velasquez, or Dos Santos...........
