Official Customs Discussion/HELP Thread

Ok so Ive been noticing alot of posts asking for help on customs. I think it would be a good idea to have an official stickied thread in here for it to prevent clutter and make it easier for people to anwser everyones questions. In here you can talk about everything customs and ask any questions you want. You can ask for reipies on certain fighters, head scan choices, and tutorials on how to do a certain technique. Also you can post protos on figures to get feedback on them and see what you should do to it next.

I'm working on a Fedor R5 figure for my personal collection, and I keep hitting road blocks with this head. I'm ready to give up on this head and go with the Matt Serra head that might work better but is much smaller than the Rashad base I used.

Any suggestions as to who I could turn this head into? The mouth is really bad, I need to completely resculpt. I think to make it work for Fedor I need to bring the nose down a bit too, move the mouth down slightly. Chop the ears off, sand down the inside edge and put back on.





Here's the Serra head modded slightly on the nose and sculpted the jaw line a bit wider. Still needs some nose work and some slight work around the eyes, then some beefing on the neck and back side of the head/neck to make it work.

The Serra head actually might worl pretty well for Fedor. Im not sure who the other head could be but I get a Wandy vibe from it if modded correctly. Good protos Gonzo Im looking to post osme protos myself here soon!

I also got Wandy coming to mind when it comes to the first picture.
