I'm a huge Em fan too. Also, country music isn't as bad as some people think. Then again, I'm mostly talking 90's country. 90's country found a fantastic balance between being "countrified" and pop-friendly. Growing up in Texas, I listened to a lot of country in my day. A lot of the new stuff just sounds like generic pop with some country leanings, or some ridiculously overblown super-patriotic stuff.

Regarding "Relapse", I think it's one of Em's best CDs. I listen to it constantly. I don't get the negativity around it: people were constantly on him to "bring Shady back", and when he finally does it, people are all up-in-arms about it. The whole thing about murdering people, rape, kidnapping, assault, drugs...that's all vintage Shady. I have a feeling that, a couple of years from now, people are going to be showering Relapse with praise just like the original Slim Shady LP, which is now considered one of the best rap albums ever.

Since I'm from Houston, I've been listening to a LOT of chopped and screwed music lately. There's just something about it that I can't turn away from. It's some seriously mellow music...I listen to it exclusively whenever I'm driving.
